Robin Loxley, the 5th grade outlaw of Nottingham Elementary, refuses to be pushed around. School bully, Nadia, rules recess with an unfair Playground Tax. Robin will have to stand up to Nadia but all she can think about is winning back her best friend, Mary Ann, after a fallout over the summer. Grades 4-6.
