After the suddenly passing of his parents, ten-year-old Lewis goes to live with Uncle Jonathan at his mansion with secret passages and mysterious rooms in New Zebedee. Lewis discovers that his uncle is a wizard and his best friend, Mrs. Zimmerman is a witch. They are searching for a magic clock hidden somewhere in the walls of the house, a clock programmed to destroy the world if it's not found and taken apart. Grades 4-7.
